Author Guidelines

1. Manuscripts submitted to RIAM: Research in Applied Management must be original works that have not been published previously and are not under consideration for publication elsewhere. Manuscripts must be written in English and submitted through the journal's online submission system using the RIAM article template in Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) format.
2. Manuscripts should be prepared on A4 paper size using Arial 11 pt, single line spacing, and 2.54 cm margins on all sides.
3. The manuscript should be between 8 and 20 pages, including tables, figures, appendices, and references.
4. The manuscript should be organized in the following order: Title, Author Information, Abstract, Keywords, Introduction, Literature Review and Hypothesis Development (if applicable), Method, Results and Discussion, Conclusion, Acknowledgment (optional), and References.
5. Title should be concise, informative, and clearly reflect the main contribution of the study. The title should be written in Title Case, not exceed 20 words, and avoid abbreviations whenever possible.
6. Author Information should include the full name of each author without academic titles, institutional affiliation, and country. One author should be designated as the corresponding author.
7. Abstract should be written in English in a single paragraph consisting of 150–250 words. It should briefly explain the purpose of the study, research method, main findings, and implications. Citations, tables, and figures should not be included in the abstract.
8. Keywords should consist of three to five terms that represent the main concepts of the manuscript and should be listed alphabetically.
9. Introduction should present the research background, research gap, problem statement, research objectives, and the contribution of the study. Authors are encouraged to clearly demonstrate the novelty and significance of their research.
10. Literature Review and Hypothesis Development should discuss relevant theories and previous studies that support the research framework. For quantitative studies, hypotheses should be developed logically based on theoretical and empirical arguments.
11. Methods should clearly describe the research design, population and sample, data collection procedures, measurement instruments, variables, and data analysis techniques to ensure research transparency and replicability.
12. Results and Discussion should present research findings systematically and discuss their theoretical and practical implications by relating the findings to previous studies and relevant theories. Tables and figures should be numbered consecutively and cited within the text.
13. Conclusion should summarize the main findings of the study, highlight theoretical and practical implications, acknowledge research limitations, and provide recommendations for future research.
14. Acknowledgment is optional and may be used to recognize funding agencies, institutions, or individuals who contributed to the study but do not qualify for authorship.
15. References should follow the American Psychological Association (APA) 7th Edition citation style. All references cited in the text must appear in the reference list and vice versa. Authors are encouraged to use reference management software such as Mendeley, Zotero, or EndNote. At least 80% of references should be derived from scholarly journal articles, with priority given to recent publications.
